Rescue from Heights

It is a requirement of the Work Health and Safety Regulations that an Employer has a rescue plan when persons are working at height and can effect that rescue plan in the event of an incident occurring. This plan includes the rescue of persons left suspended in a harness prior to the arrival of emergency services personnel.

The Rescue from Heights course builds on skills covered in the Safe Working at Heights course and instructs participants on how to conduct a vertical rescue of a suspended and/or injured worker.  This includes the development of knowledge and competency across a range of simple techniques to safely lower the injured person from the structure.

For further information on this course please contact EMS on 1300 133 302.
