Road Crash and Industrial Rescue

A wide range of tailored courses can be delivered depending on the needs of the client. All categories of rescue are available from Industrial to Road Crash. All course instructors have operational experience working in Rescue Teams.


Course Description

Specialising in tailoring courses to meet the demands of industry, the Road Crash Rescue and Industrial Rescue course is a stellar example of Emergency Management Services keeping pace with industry demand.  State of the art training is provided to participants by Instructors with current front line operational emergency experience in full-time Rescue Units, both as Rescue Operators and Rescue Instructors.  This unique job based experience and technical expertise can only be gained after many years of providing first hand operational response to road crash and industrial incidents. Course Content

The Road Crash Rescue Course is specifically tailored to the needs, equipment and capability of the client. Each new client undergoes an assessment and evaluation of its current risk and control measures prior to developing a training program which is then rolled out to the participants.  Each section of the training program is tailored to the client’s risk and control measures, along with the ability of the 
participants. Equipment used on this course will vary, depending on the equipment available on the client site for rescue incidents post training. A high level overview of topics included are listed below:

Course Duration

The duration of this course will depend on the risks, control measures, the needs of the client and the desired outcome of the course.


Delivery mode

Training is delivered face to face including both theory and practical components with a strong emphasis on the practical application of skills.  The training will be delivered over a number of sites both at the clients site and at other locations, as required.


Award and Recognition

Successful participants will be awarded a Statement of Training listing the curriculum that was delivered and the duration of the training.


Prerequisites

Participants are required to hold a current First Aid Certificate including the national unit of competency HLTFA301B or equivalent.


Additional Requirements

All participants will be required to supply the minimum Personal Protective Equipment including helmet, safety glasses, leather gloves, long sleeved overalls and sturdy work boots with reinforced toes.
